Please see your invitation to our annual Black Stump Open shoot – 2.5 days of shooting, scrumptious catering by Helen Allen and a 3 course meal and a Black Stump BS Quizz! Bring your camper /Swag / Caravan or stay in town – learn and grow into the sport and have fun and learn! We would love to host you at our open event!

A good reminder that there are plenty of relaxed, fun pistol competitions on around Qld and other states that members should consider attending.  You don’t need to worry about whether you’re “good enough” because it’s no different to having a shot at our club.  Except you can expect camping (usually free), catering and time to sit around and chat with like minded folks!

For a serious road trip, if you can afford the fuel, the central/western clubs put their Opens in succession so you could shoot at Rockhampton on 27/28 June, Emerald 4/5 July, Blackall 11/12 July and Mount Isa 18/19 July!  If that sounds like too much time on the road there are plenty of closer competitions and you can see the full PSQ calendar here.
